Live Qigong Online Lessons

A little more info about how good Qigong is for you. I do 2 regular lessons in the week plus the option of private online lessons. I will start a free introductory lesson as well.

Twice-weekly lessons are 40 mins long

Qigong can be practised for 10-20 mins.

These gentle movements are for any age and fitness level.

It's easy to learn and quickly gives you a feeling of qi in your body.

We do around 2 to 5 moves per lesson, so it is relatively easy to learn.

For the beginners, I put emphasis on how to relax your body and breathe well, more than on doing fine tuning of your movements.

During the lessons we work on our breath and internal directions of the chi (our life force energy) flow and internal visualisations for some of these moves.

We chat about how to obtain the many benefits of releasing tension in the body and oxygenating the blood well.

Learn how to dissolve tension and energy blockages in order to stay healthy into old age.

Cleanse negative spiritual energy that may be blocked in your body with Daoist Healing Sounds Qigong

Accessible Qigong for All – Gentle, Healing, and Inclusive Practices

Those who can only sit or have low energy or impaired movement will benefit from Mark’s experience with the many ways of teaching different people so you will get the maximum benefit no matter what your circumstance is.

For example, Tai Chi & Qigong Shibashi places emphasis on synchronizing its 18 gentle rolling movements with proper breathing and visualisation techniques. There is no sitting or standing still. Deep (belly) breathing, using the full extent of the lungs is essential. The simple movements, derived from Yang style Tai Chi, are easy to learn and very beneficial to our health and well-being. While improving circulation, digestion, lung conditions like asthma, it also relieves stress and physical tension. Every joint, tendon and ligament is lightly stretched giving maximum health benefits. Activate Chi or Rock the Spine before your practise.

Example 2, Four Seasons Chi Kung (Si Ji Gong) is a Medical Chi Kung based on Five Elements. It promotes health through seasonal change and balances and harmonises specific organs.

Deepening Awareness Through Practice

As we practise and become more experienced, we start to not only feel the movements in a qigong exercise, but also feel the skin, later also our organs, bone marrow, in other words we become real in our body, and mindfully aware of our body. This, in turn helps us to relax our muscles, and increases blood circulation.

Releasing Tension & Unlocking Energy

In qigong and meditation, one becomes aware of tension we may carry, which allows us to release it from our muscles and even release blockages in our body and our mind. We begin to feel “lighter”. This leads to better health in thinking, emotional reacting, self-healing physically and spiritually.

Una

I have some health challenges and joined Mark's on-line qigong lessons.
At first I thought I would quit, but luckily I persevered.
Now I look forward to every lesson.

Overall Gi Gong has been a positive influence and improved my quality of life. By regular practice it did help reduce some stress and anxiety in my day to day living. I stopped practicing in the Summer and I did happen to get quite sick with Covid in early September which could be coincidence or not. I used to practice in the forest near me overlooking a view of the Kerry mountains, which I have to say is a very calming spiritual experience. I look forward to going back to regular practice.
