Mark has decades of experience in practising and teaching qigong, tai chi, self-healing and various forms of nutrition.
Lessons are customized to fit your requirements regarding age, experience, needs, health challenges.
Mark gets results, providing you do some practise, we will help you achieve your wellness goals. Not being sick means more time to spend with loved ones and improves our mood.
Access handouts and videos to stay on the path of longevity.
As we practise and become more experienced, we start to not only feel the movements in a qigong exercise, but also feel the skin, later also our organs, bone marrow, in other words we become real in our body, and mindfully aware of our body. This, in turn helps us to relax our muscles, and increases blood circulation.
In qigong and meditation, one becomes aware of tension we may carry, which allows us to release it from our muscles and even release blockages in our body and our mind. We begin to feel “lighter”. This leads to better health in thinking, emotional reacting, self-healing physically and spiritually.
Those who can only sit or have low energy or impaired movement will benefit from Mark’s experience with the many ways of teaching different people so you will get the maximum benefit no matter what your circumstance is.
For example, Tai Chi & Qigong Shibashi places emphasis on synchronizing its 18 gentle rolling movements with proper breathing and visualisation techniques. There is no sitting or standing still. Deep (belly) breathing, using the full extent of the lungs is essential. The simple movements, derived from Yang style Tai Chi, are easy to learn and very beneficial to our health and well-being. While improving circulation, digestion, lung conditions like asthma, it also relieves stress and physical tension. Every joint, tendon and ligament is lightly stretched giving maximum health benefits. Activate Chi or Rock the Spine before your practise.
Example 2, Four Seasons Chi Kung (Si Ji Gong) is a Medical Chi Kung based on Five Elements. It promotes health through seasonal change and balances and harmonises specific organs.
Free introductory lesson on Wednesday 19.00. By appointment only
